While returning from Lamjung to Kathmandu, the soul reminds me without hurting myself to make a trip to Manakamana Temple and was quite easily supported by Anu and Manu, which added extra flavor to our journey. Immediately we convinced bus staff to have our next stop at Manakamana and he agreed happily. A little sleep in the bus neither I had a dream at the time so I missed the views at this period, but having traveled a lot in this highway did not disappoint myself.
The bus landed near Manakamana Temple, we bought the pooja samagri from a little street shop. We strongly, with a little no doubt we request to the shop lady to keep our luggage with her until we are back from the Temple, she replied easily for sure you can leave here so I can look after you, this is how we understand each other’s soul without hurting each other in our Nepal but I strongly do not recommend in all the places ever.
Manakamana a sacred Hindu Temple of Hindu Goddess called Durga Bhawani is situated in Gorkha District of Nepal on a top of the dramatic hills approximately 1300 m in height.
Manakamana combines with two words Mana and Kamana, Mana described heart and kamana describe wish, and it is believed if anyone goes with the pure heart the goddess will fulfill their wishes according to our Hinduism mythology.
Surrounded by small village community which is about 100 km west from Kathmandu capital city and east from Pokhara and is about 9 km north-east from a small town called Mugling. Manakamana is one of the most important Temple in Nepal which is basking in front of the Himalayas and people believe the Goddess Bhagwati an incarnation of Parvati will grant your wishes if you wish with your pure heart. Even you are not there to fulfill your wishes but you can scroll spectacular views down the steep and Marsyandi river. But after the 2015 big tragedy earthquake, the construction has been undergoing. Pilgrims come here with hope for good fortune with Goats, Chicken, Duck to sacrifice in the name of Manakamana.
A cable car has been installed to reach to Temple which covers around 2.8 km from Prithvi Highway which will take you almost 10 minutes.
While you are off the cable car, you will be seeing 100 ‘s shops trying to sell worship offering with best of mouth live deals in a bundle and it’s a great idea here to learn how to sell your product and become a marketer.
