Namaste, Let me take you to Chitwan National Park here. Rise and shine early morning around 5.30 AM, bags were already been packed a day ahead. The Kasara bus hangs around at Kamaladi for us, took the Taxi from Chapali Chowk and reached beforehand at Kamaladi. The sky was clear, the movement was in calm motion on the thruway early morning, few buses were in a queue. We could see clearly WI-FI written on the bus but the bus driver told us it’s not working at all which was ok. We reached Sauraha Chowk and changed the another transportation which dropped us at Sauraha Resort. The owner welcomed with soft drinks and then transferred to the room. After a few times rest, we headed for village walk and discovered Rapti river, museum, elephant breeding center where we had a great sunset view while a Gharial crocodile was resting on the bank of the river.
The second day we had an elephant ride in the morning where we were able to see the one horned rhino, crocodile, many birds.
Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park, a very first protected area of Nepal bounded by Rapti and Narayani River located in south central Nepal. This park consists of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros.
